Find something good and sturdy from which to hang, be it a mounted pull-up bar, a jungle gym at the local playground, or even a tree branch. Grip the bar with both hands and slowly bend your knees so that most—or all—of your weight is hanging from your hands. You should feel a loosening and lengthening of your spine. Hang for as long as you are comfortable, or hang in shorter bouts and repeat.
